Van Persie has been close to comeback
Manchester – There’s good news behind the defeat of Manchester United in the inaugural match of the 2014-15 Premier League. Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal revealed that Robin van Persie has been close to for a comeback.
Van Persie also missed a series of pre-season tour of MU associated with its participation in the 2014 World Cup with the Dutch national team. However, in recent weeks, 31-year-old striker has started practicing.
The name Van Persie not in the squad ‘Red Devils’ moment subdued Swansea City 1-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday (16/8) night. Even so, Van Persie likely to appear in the next game.
“I can not use (Marouane) Fellaini or (Adnan) Januzaj from minute opponent in today’s game because they had come recently from the World Cup,” said Van Gaal at the club’s official website.

“But we are already undergoing training with Robin for three weeks. So, the bottom line is he will be able to re-sod as soon as possible.”
In the second game, Manchester United will travel to the Stadium of Light to challenge Sunderland on Sunday (24/8).
