Wolfsburg – Nicklas Bendtner launched an “attack” to his former club, Arsenal. The Denmark striker was time for a year at the Gunners wasted.
Bendtner was recorded as an Arsenal player for nine years, before finally going on this summer. He moved to Wolfsburg after his contract with ‘Gunner’ exhausted.
While still belonged to Arsenal, Bendtner loaned several times. He’s been on loan to Birmingham City (2006/2007), Sunderland (2011/2012), and the last Juventus (2012-2013).
In last season’s rare Bendtner played by Arsene Wenger. He only appeared in 14 games mostly as a substitute.
“I’m playing regularly for Juventus up to my injury. At Arsenal I barely play. Wasted my last year there,” said Bendtner told Bild.
“I loaned to Juve. Situation is going well there. I play regularly, and I’m fit. Then I got injured and had to be sidelined for six months,” he continued.
“We are the champions (Serie A), I want to hang in there. However, Arsenal repatriate me. I wasted a year there. Was most irritated me,” said the 26-year striker.
