London – Alex Song confessed demand by clubs in the Champions League this season, but prefer to West Ham United. He had a reason why decided to join the Hammers.
Song leaving Barcelona this summer because its power is not really needed by the Spanish club. He was loaned to West Ham during the season.
According to the Cameroon midfielder, he actually had a chance to move to a more established club than West Ham and the Champions League. But, he was more interested in the long-term project and offered West Ham reject these clubs. In addition, he was also impressed with the way Sam Allardyce manager assured him.
“Some people ask when I do not move to a club who play in the Champions League, but my priority is to return to England,” said Song was quoted Express.
“I’ve played in the Champions League for nine years and it‘s not important. I still have time to play in the Champions League,” he continued.
“I want to play in the Premier League. I started playing here when I was 17 years old and this is the sala of the best leagues in the world. When I had the chance to go back and I spoke with the manager, I jumped at the opportunity. I love the way he talks to me and what he has to say, “said the former Arsenal player.
