Turin – Juventus touted was monitoring developments at Barcelona‘s Dani Alves. The Bianconeri are reluctant to close the door to senior defender the Brazilian national team.
Juve–Alves issues can not be separated from the fact that the Barca defender will be out of contract at the end of the season. Italian League champions are believed to exploit this situation to move in the January transfer window.
Barca can get a 31-year-old defender with a good price in January, if Barca do not want to lose players for free in the summer of next year. ‘The Mistress‘ also had a great chance to seal the player to move in the summer instead of the cost of a transfer in January.
Through the General Director Giuseppe Marotta confirms Juventus open all opportunities to strengthen the team. But it also revealed that the team would not be just to accommodate older players who run out of contracts.
“If there are players that can improve the quality of the squad, then we will consider them. But it should be mentioned that the promise will be a guarantee,” said Marotta told Tuttosport.
“Not easy to find decent players for Juve and we do not want to be some sort of shelter teams figure of old players who run out of contracts,” he added.
“However, Dani Alves is definitely a good player,” said he, as reported by the Italian Football.
