ROME – The last day of the winter transfer window stay a matter of hours. However, Roma coach Rudi Garcia said it would recruit new players.
Rome has just release Mattia Destro to AC Milan on loan and permanent option. Clearly, new ammunition Giallorosi need their front line in order to continue to compete in the race for the Scudetto.
“We will get a striker instead of Destro. The club is only going to recruit players who can help the team,” Garcia said as quoted by Four Four Two, Saturday (01/31/2015).
The Frenchman also did not want this transfer to make his team lose focus face Empoli in this 21 giornata. “Today a lot of talk of transfer, but our players understand they need to focus on dealing with Empoli,” he added.
The latest news mentions Garcia interested in bringing CSKA Moscow striker, Seydou Doumbia. However, it seems not to continue with the formal transfer in the near future.
