Manchester – Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri will not appear again in the rest of the season. Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Nasri had finished the season due to injury.
Nasri injured when City visit to the home to Tottenham Hotspur last week. In that game, Nasri coming on as a substitute in the 73rd minute only survive for three minutes on the pitch.
The Frenchman seems to have a problem on his muscles. In the 76th minute, Nasri back pulled out and was replaced by Wilfried Bony.
Pellegrini ensure that Nasri will not be able to perform again in the remainder of the season due to the injury. Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany last we played in the game against Manchester United called Pellegrini has returned to training.
“We have a squad that is complete except for Nasri, who suffered a muscle injury. He will be sidelined until the end of the season,” said Pellegrini was quoted as saying the club’s official website.
“Vincent has always been an important player for us. He came back from a muscle injury. It is important for him to restore the normal appearance. We will see what will happen from now until the end of the season,” he added.
