Milan – Proud, that the perceived coach of AC Milan, Filippo Inzaghi, after his team beat Napoli 2-0 at the San Siro on Monday morning (15.12.14) pm.
Milan‘s opening goal scored by Jeremy Menez when the game runs six minutes. Giacomo Bonaventura doubled the lead seven minutes after the break.
This game seems to be ‘atonement‘ for Milan for the humiliating defeat of Genoa last weekend.
Inzaghi more proud because there are some players that do not appear in the game as Ignazio Abate and Daniele Bonera.
“There are important players missing through injury, including two core of the Italian national team defender and Alex, but I was always sure of this team,” said Inzaghi as reported by Sky Sport.
“The appearance of this evening is a great character performances and I am very, very proud of these players,” he added.
This victory led Milan to the sixth position with 24 points from 15 games, two points adrift of third place simultaneously positioning the Champions League final, which is currently occupied Lazio.
“We are on the right track and it took a little longer to reach the top,” the 41-year-old coach explained.
